Prayer leaps housing hurdles
Last year seemed the right time for my son and me to move. After 10 happy years we had outgrown our old home, and we needed to find somewhere more sutiable for him to be able to play outside, and to have more room inside.
I started looking at properties and was thrilled to find one quickly, exactly where I'd hoped we could live. Everything seemed so easy. I put my house on the market and sold it to an eager buyer within a matter of days.
But it soon became clear that the vendors of my house-to-be were not entirely sure they wanted to sell, and they hand't found a new place to live themselves. The day came for us to leave our home and we still had no sure prospect of moving into the new place. My sister graciously offered to let us stay with her for what we anticipated would be a few weeks (it turned out to be five months!)
