It's time to go deeper
SIMON PETER had been fishing all night, for nothing. Jesus told him, "Put out into the deep water, and let down your nets for a catch." Futile, he thought—but again lowered his net. This time the catch filled and broke the net!
Our invitation in this week's issue: Join us in looking below the surface. As with Jesus' request to Peter, let's plumb the depth—and the height—of thought. Let's look beyond labels that call disease incurable—labels that assume life is vulnerable, or simply about body mass.
In "Incurable? Remove the label," spiritual healer Ron Ballard says the word incurable is actually just a label. And he adds, "If ... we shift our perspective to a spiritual standpoint, and consider our connection with God—we begin to see beyond labels."
