My safe place

Big cousin,
you keep me safe.

You keep me warm,
 and happy.

You help me sit up,
 and hold me up.

Behind us,
the wind blows.
It whips between the trees.

Around us,
the smell of tulips wafts.
It tickles my nose,
and
I wriggle.
You reposition me
to keep me safe.

You strong hand
wraps around my waist.
I feel grounded,
and I have found
my safe place.
