Through a spiritual lens—A CARING HAND
One of photography's strengths as an art form is its ability to capture the essence of a moment in time. The concepts of love and caring can be fairly abstract. However, they take tangible shapes when put into practice moment by moment. "A Caring Hand" was one such moment I photographed in New York City, as a care worker and her charge waited at a traffic crossing. There's an abstract quality to this photo because of its emphasis on textures, bold color, and close composition. However, the essence of the image is that caring hand, softly touching the shoulder, and in that moment, showing the presence of divine Love.
