Jocelyn's healing
Jocelyn Shoemake and her grandmother Earline talk about how they prayed together for healing
Jocelyn: When I was seven years old, I was visiting my grandparents. I was playing with my brother and sisters in the basement, but then I got bored. I looked around for something else to do.
I found my grandma's sewing machine and saw something that looked like a pizza cutter. I didn't know this then, but it was a rotary cutter, which she uses for cutting material when she makes quilts. I wanted to find out what it did. It had a big round blade that was very, very sharp. But since I didn't know that it was sharp, I decided to spin it. I played around with it to make it spin, but it didn't work. So I tried it with my finger. When I did that, I got a huge cut.
