Jake Lowe is an eleven-year-old from Washington who likes dancing, acting, singing, and playing the saxophone. He talked with the Kids' Sentinel about how he's learned to handle teasing and bullying.

Sometimes kids like to pick on other kids who are different. It happened to me.

At the end of third grade, there were all these rumors going around about me. People were making fun of my religious beliefs. It was tough. I was worrying way too much about what other people thought about me, but it was hard not to.
