YOUR LETTERS

Thanks so much for the Sentinel's new direction. I'm glad that magazine is helping readers see that God's law is at work where we may not have recognized it before Mary Baker Eddy defined Christian Science as "the law of God, the law of good, interpreting and demonstrating the divine Principle and rule of universal harmony" (Rudimental Divine Science, p. 1).

I'm loving the articles about non-Christian Scientists that show this, as for instance the teacher who was able to prevent a school tragedy because of her Christly response to her students [February 4], and the former Enron worker who has been able to help unemployed Enron workers because of her compassion and love [February 25]. They are not putting their experiences in terms of Christian Science because they don't know about Christian Science, but God's law is surely being demonstrated in their lives. These articles help me take the broader view of Christian Science and give God praise for what He/She is doing.
