Deliver us from . . .
I'm awake. As I lie in bed, I'm loosely aware that no sound is the culprit for my break in sleep. What is it then? Bits of thought drift in and out, as I sink deeper under the covers and try to fall back to sleep.
What is it? Why am I still awake? I'm not unwell. A thought comes: "You should get up and pray." I try to go back to sleep.
Still awake. Just get up, I think. Get up and do some praying. You've been wanting to take a walk around the lake before work, and you can pray at the same time.
