YOUR LETTERS
How excellent is the gift of Richard Bergenheim's article, "Looking back, looking ahead," in the 31 December issue. I felt so inspired to move forward in my prayer as I read this "vigorous assertion of life" reminding us that "the power and presence of God is with us" and "there is no evil in the creation of God." The author's interpretation of Jesus' two great commandments, "I am to love my neighbor as I am loved by God," will be helpful in work I do praying with children as a Christian Science practitioner.
I also really appreciated Russ Gerber's editorial in the same issue. He reminded us of our ability to do our part in "Raising the quality of life" in our communities and our neighborhoods. This Sentinel is a keeper and one to share widely.
