Through a spiritual lens—TOURS, FRANCE
UNRESTRICTED LIGHT
Warm sunlight spills like gold through this church window, but is not contained by it. Spirituality cannot be contained, much the same way that beauty cannot be contained. Beauty moves and changes with the light as it is reflected or absorbed by the objects it touches. Spirituality is in our thoughts and actions—the thoughts that are closest to our hearts, the actions that most closely reflect those thoughts. Were we to try to limit either beauty or spirituality, we would be denying their very purpose of reflecting God's intangible purity. A purity that is found in, not created by, the human experience.
