The stillness of Your voice
In the morning I will listen
For the stillness of Your voice,
And I know that You will give me
All the grace and calm and poise
I will need throughout the day
To face the world and all its noise,
As I listen in the morning
For the stillness of Your voice.
If at midday I come to You
With a hunger in my core,
I am certain You will feed me,
And I know that You will pour
Ample blessings all around me
From Your never-ending store,
If I come to You at midday
With a hunger in my core.
In the evening I will thank You
For the allness of Your love,
And rest safe within the knowledge
That it always is enough.
As I reflect upon the things
That You have taught me of,
I will thank You in the evening
For the allness of Your love.
