The prayer that left no trace of injury
Original in Spanish
A few months ago, I was riding my bike through town with my mother, when I tripped and fell as I tried to get off the bike. My face hit the pavement full force.
I was very afraid, because I heard a cracking sound, and my nose started to bleed, inside and out.
A very kind lady who was passing by tried to help, although she was just as scared as I was, if not more. She took my mother and me to her house, only two blocks away, and let me go inside to wash my face in her bathroom. But when I saw that my nose had swelled up like a balloon, I got even more scared.
