Dear Sentinel
When I went down to Ocracoke Island in North Carolina on a family vacation, one of the things we did was deep-sea fishing. It was really fun, but once we got into choppy water, I started to feel sick.
As I went to lie down, I was thinking that God was all around, and so nothing could harm me or make me sick. I began to feel much better, and by the time we got back, I was back to normal.
We caught tons of fish and decided to have them for dinner that night. It was delicious. But then my throat started hurting because I had swallowed a bone. There was a very sharp pain. I went into the bathroom, where it was quiet. I began thinking how God wouldn't create anything that could harm His children. I drank some water, and it went right down. I was so relieved. There was no more pain. Later my mom told me that she and my grandmother had been praying for me.
I love God and Christian Science.
