Intelligence, intuition, wisdom they're yours for the taking
It's A Mistake to believe that we create wisdom or intelligence, because doing so leaves God out of the picture. Intelligence comes from Him. And since intelligence is a quality of God, of the all-knowing Mind, it is unlimited, just as He is. Because you're made in the image of God, your intelligence isn't limited by any circumstance you find yourself in. You can expect to solve even the toughest problems with God's help. "The Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding," the Bible promises (Prov. 2:6).
One morning I wanted to understand more clearly that intelligence is a quality of divine Mind, something we all have. That it isn't something one person has more of than another. I prayed by thinking about this idea from Science and Health: "The Christ-like understanding of scientific being and divine healing includes a perfect Principle and idea,—perfect God and perfect man,—as the basis of thought and demonstration" (p. 259). I asked to understand that each of us was made to express intelligence, ability, and love perfectly.
At that time I was vice-president of an executive board that was selling a large piece of property. We had agreed to accept an offer on the property and were about to open escrow. On the afternoon of the day I had been praying about intelligence, I stopped by the real estate office to sign the escrow instructions. I didn't read them; our real estate agent said that he had read them and that they were fine. The agent gave me a copy of the instructions, and I went home.
