Quick healing of a longtime problem
For many years, I went around with an unsightly growth on my nose. Every time I looked in the mirror, I resented having it. From my study of Christian Science, I knew this was a mental, not a physical, problem, and that it had its base in fear.
At different times, I had various Christian Science practitioners pray for me. When I wasn't quickly healed, however, my husband became concerned.
I knew this was a mental, not a physical, problem.
Finally, I made an appointment with yet another practitioner. She expressed so much love and spoke to me encouragingly of her own healings of facial blemishes. She told me that when I cared more about what God saw in me than what people saw, I would be healed.
I listened attentively and drank in every word. She helped me see that I was not trying to get rid of anything, but needed to see my true self as God's likeness—already spiritual and perfect.
Two days later, the growth opened and drained—it was gone. And it has not returned.
How blessed we all are to have this precious Truth to use in our daily lives.
