Breaking the hurry habit
What are you rushing for?
ONE night, I found myself following (too closely) a very slow-moving car on a twisty two-lane road. I couldn't pass, so for at least half an hour I had to follow it at about 15 miles per hour under the speed limit.
Well, I certainly had time to think. Here's what came to me: Would you be riding the bumper of a friend's car? No, I said to myself. I'd be patient and understanding.
But that little message to be more loving to a stranger went unheeded, and I stayed right on this car's bumper.
