Psalm 23 in your own words
After studying Psalm 23 in the Bible, the students in a Sunday School class in Olympia, Washington, decided to write "23rd psalms" of their own. Here's what they came up with.
I won't beg for things I don't need.
God makes me calm and not worried.
He reassures me everything's right
and makes me do the right things.
Even when I'm really scared,
God makes everything seem peaceful.
He helps me make friends with my enemies
and sets a feast for them that
spills love and shows that everyone is holy
God is always with me.
