Protection comes from God
It is part of my husband's job to locate, rent, and furnish homes for foreign families that come to work and live for a period in our country.
One snowy evening my husband and I picked up an arriving family from the airport with his van. We took them to their home, which was located in a sparsely populated area where no snowplows had yet reached. We parked the van in front of the house and began unloading. As I reached for a bag, I remembered how I had been unable to carry anything for so long because of back problems and a broken arm. I saw that through my study of Christian Science, I was now able to carry things once again.
I stepped through the garden gate onto what looked like thick, even snow. But it was actually a doormat. The mat slipped out from under me, and the next thing I remember I was lying flat on my face.
