Prayer works
I'm very thankful for a healing I had. I slammed the car door on my leg, and I started crying. My mom came and held me. We talked about God. When I calmed down, my mom put me back in the car, and we went on our way to a swimming pool. When we got to the pool, I was fine. I had fun the rest of the day. Steven Frank
Alton, Illinois
On our way to the mall that afternoon, my son and I had had a discussion about how God was everywhere, and we talked about the fact that God was more powerful than any bad thing. Steven had also been saying this out loud to his younger sister. He was very clear in his statement, telling her that God was all-powerful and that nothing, such as fire or falling down, could harm us.
As we were getting into the van after shopping, Steven began to scream and cry loudly. When I looked up, I realized he had slammed the door on his leg. I instantly went to him and declared that God was there with us. We talked about how nothing, not even the door of the van, could harm him, because God was always present to care for him.
