Nothing can stop God
I was out running my dog one morning last spring, when the neighbor's small dogs ran out to the street, barking at us. As I turned to look at them, I stepped off the pavement and fell, twisting my ankle.
Making my way back home, I reached out to God. When I asked a Christian Science practitioner to help me through prayer, he reminded me of the spiritual fact that I could never have fallen out of God's love. My desire to express God by expressing the qualities of joy and activity could never be taken from me.
I considered these truths as I showered and got ready for the day. I was grateful for all the qualities of God I was able to express at that moment, including stability and grace.
