Sore throat healed instantly

One day about a year ago when I was driving home from work, I started to feel ill. My throat was scratchy, and I felt dizzy. I needed to help care for my kids when I got home, so I couldn't just lie down on the couch, which was what I felt like doing.

I reached out to God in prayer, trying to be obedient to this urging from Science and Health: "Rise in the strength of Spirit to resist all that is unlike good" (p. 393). And that would include my feeling sick. I felt a rush of strength, warmth, and joy, and was healed virtually instantly. I was able to attend family activities which were planned for that evening, and had no further trouble.
