YOUR LETTERS
"The articles come so close to humanity and provide the healing truths that meet every need."
As the gun-control debate and the presidential election heat up, we can expect to see "planted" stories in various media; I sincerely hope "The day I sold my gun" (August 14) wasn't one of them. However, you should know that there is no such thing as a ".45mm" gun.
You should also be aware that the tactics used by anti-gunners are strikingly similar to those used by opponents of spiritual healing, ignoring good experiences.
Although constitutionally protected, both firearms ownership and the free exercise of religion are under serious attack. We need to realize that the decision to own firearms, like the decision to practice spiritual healing, is an intensely personal one, involving careful thought and acceptance of the serious responsibilities involved. These decisions are individual ones and should not be made for us.
