Make yourself at home!
As I was leaving the city, I saw this sign advertising a condominium development: "If you lived here, you'd be home now."
Well, I didn't. But the sign got me thinking about what home meant to me. Homes vary in both style and location. There are apartments, bungalows, mansions, cabins, huts; homes in the desert, on the mountaintop, by the sea, in the forest. So are the four walls we call home, really home?
I'm a regular reader of the Bible, and have learned a lot about home from that book. For example:
