YOUR LETTERS
"The artwork and photographs in all the magazines are a great source of joy!"
Thanks for the editorial, "Do no harm" (February 21). Over a year ago, I began driving long stretches of coastal highway several days a week and would regularly see road-kill. Such scenes would leave me depressed and angry, and soon I dreaded these drives—a signal that prayer was needed.
Through Christian Science, I am learning that as the reflection of God, divine Life, I bear witness only to life, not death. This spiritual fact has been a strength and comfort to me. Nowadays, I remember to pray when I make these journeys, and I am finding fewer dead animals along the road. I'm grateful.
