What's wrong with this picture?
Sickness has no place in God's image of you.
There's a delightful kind of puzzle that many children (and adults) enjoy. It presents pictures of people, animals, or things drawn with clothing or objects that would not normally belong with them. For example, it might show a turkey with human feet or a boy paddling a rowboat down a tar road. The object of the puzzle is to find all the things that are wrong with the picture.
One morning I received a call to help one of my grandchildren with prayer through Christian Science treatment. He had an infected eye — a chronic condition we had had to deal with from time to time. Instantly I thought, How anomalous! This is as unreal as a turkey with human feet! Then I began immediately to replace the picture with what I knew to be true of God and His creation.
