Cold quickly healed
One evening I had a cold. At first I thought it was only a small matter. However, as I was undertaking Christian Science class instruction and was in the middle of reading through my study notes for the day, I decided that I should not ignore this situation. It was not right to put up with any degree of suffering. Now was the time to heal it.
I recalled this statement in Science and Health: "The three great verities of Spirit, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, — Spirit possessing all power, filling all space, constituting all Science, — contradiet forever the belief that matter can be actual" (pp. 109-110). This reminded me that as God's image I am not made up of material elements. God is Spirit, so this means that I am spiritual God is perfect and thus so am I. As the likeness of God, I reflect His goodness and well-being.
