for teens
Looking for an answer?
WHEN I was a teenager, life seemed so unfair. Nobody cared for me, I thought. Certainly not my birth parents. They had let other people adopt me, which to me showed that they didn't want me.
A dark cloud of depression followed me around, and I decided that the only way out was to commit suicide. I contemplated how to do this.
Then one day at Sunday School, something gave me hope. I realized that God loved me, and that God was my Father and Mother. God created the real being of each one of us in His own image and likeness. Seeing this was a big step forward for me. Then, to learn that God is Life and that Life is always here filled me with hope and energy.
