"As I desire to feel God's presence here in the office, I'm refreshing my thought each moment of the day."

I just finished reading the Cover Story "The great getaway" (July 12). I had stuffed this Sentinel into a bag, intending to read it a few weeks ago, and just pulled it out this morning. Well, it couldn't have been a better morning to find it. I came into the office this morning with my head hung low, feeling very discouraged. Outside the temperature is over 100 degrees, each day of work feels longer than the last, and I feel that I deserve a vacation!

Before starting my work, I sat down and turned to the article. It provided such an interesting look into what it means to be "refreshed." As I desire to feel God's presence here in the office, I'm refreshing my thought each moment of the day. What better vacation is there?

Incidentally, I'm scheduled to take a vacation in a couple of weeks, but instead of looking forward to just "getting away," I can't wait to set a spiritual goal for the trip, and make it a "great getaway"!
