Lost money found; severe skin irritation healed

One morning, after spending some time studying the Bible and Science and Health and praying about what I was learning, it became very clear to me that everything is truly—and is now—under the control of divine Principle; that we all live in the kingdom of heaven, where only total and perfect harmony rules.

My next activity was to go to the drive-through teller at the bank to withdraw thirty dollars of cash. It was a very windy day, and as I was about to pick up the three ten-dollar bills from the window tray, the wind suddenly blew them away. The bank decided to call it a loss on their part, and they gave me another thirty dollars. I thanked the bank teller and her manager, and drove off to the side of the lane to sit and think about what had just happened. I remember that this mishap didn't affect the feeling of awe that I had gained that morning, nor my certainty of being under the control of God in every way. I just couldn't keep from thinking of God's presence and control—nothing else mattered. At that moment I was simply and totally rejoicing in the fact that all is under the control of the divine Principle of the universe, God.

As I started to drive away, I found myself stopping the car on the other side of the building, where there was a vacant field. I parked the car and walked toward the middle of this field. I wasn't hunting around for the money (it was very windy). There was nothing in my thought but gladness and peace, knowing that only good (God) was real.
