INTERVIEW
Seeking and finding: a way of Life
Lynne Bundesen openly admits that she would probably not be with us today were it not for the Bible—and especially for the inspiration of the women of the Bible.
"The women of the Bible offer us wonderful stories," she told us during a conversation in Boston. "They present inventive ways to solve problems, great lines for desperate moments, and practical tips for getting our houses in order and our children in perspective.
"Whether we are Jews or Christians, believers or nonbelievers, the Bible is a nondenominational account of the spiritual self," she continued. "It transcends a particular time, a particular culture. It speaks for itself as it reveals living, detailed messages of power, strength, beauty, and comfort for women—and men—today.
