To Our Readers

Hate. It Sounds like such a big word. A word that seems to carry so much force. Yet the word itself is really a small word—only four letters. And it's a small-minded word as well. Hate doesn't have any positive influence, any good outcome. It's empty and pointless.

Love. Now, there's a truly big word. A word of genuine power. Yes, it too is a word that's only four letters long, but what a difference to our lives the real meaning of those four letters makes. Real love is bigger than an ocean. It's an idea that has infinite scope. Everything good and progressive—everything truly meaningful in life—springs from love. Real love blesses. Love brings joy. Love turns away hate and conquers it. Love redeems.

The reason that love has such power is because its source is God. Hate has no source, because whatever is empty never has a source. And if hate is ever directed at us, the love we need to turn it away and show that it is actually powerless to harm us comes straight from God. Such love dissolves the hate and proves its emptiness, its nothingness.
