Prayer prevents and cures illness

I have been at my current job for ten years now and have not missed a single day because of illness. Needless to say, I'm very grateful for the preventive role that an understanding of divine Truth plays in health care. Science and Health reminds us: "The prophylactic andtherapeutic (that is, the preventive and curative) arts belong emphatically to Christian Science, as would be readily seen, if psychology, or the Science of Spirit, God, was understood" (p. 369).

The next morning when we woke, Mariah had no fever.
