A NATURAL JOY IN LIFE
By Kathleen J. Wiegand
"Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit."
When I was new in my study of Christian Science, one of the things I loved most was the joy expressed by those embracing this teaching. It wasn't phony or forced—it was natural and consistent. I often wondered if it was possible to feel this joy myself. I longed to know what the Psalmist meant when he wrote, "Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit" (Ps. 51:12).
