Q A
Q If I call a Christian Science practitioner, what do I say? How much do I tell him/her?
A Calling a practitioner for Christian Science treatment is a lot like calling a friend. Sometimes it feels best to give details regarding the situation; other times it seems enough to say just a few words. In either case, the practitioner will make you feel at ease.
He or she is there to help you through prayer. Practitioners are also happy to answer questions about Christian Science, even if specific treatment is not necessary. You may also find it helpful to know that conversations between a practitioner and a patient are kept strictly confidential.
Mary Baker Eddy, Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, established the Church of Christ, Scientist, "... to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing."
Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy
