Prayer eliminates a painful growth
I've experienced healings of burns, severe back pain, influenza, bursitis, to name just a few. Employment and supply have been provided, and harmonious relationships have also resulted from my study and practice of Christian Science.
A year ago, a growth appeared on my face. When it grew worse and somewhat painful, I became very fearful. I called a Christian Science practitioner to treat me. She gave me many helpful references to study from the Bible and Mary Baker Eddy's writings. One reference from The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany was very helpful: "God creates man perfect and eternal in His own image. Hence man is the image, idea, or likeness of perfection—an ideal which cannot fall from its inherent unity with divine Love, from its spotless purity and original perfection" (p. 262).
