Mother solves financial difficulties
When I found out I was pregnant, I intuitively knew that I would stay home with my baby. I had no idea how my husband and I would pay our bills, but the feeling was so strong, I felt confident it was the right choice. At the time my son was born, I was not a student of Christian Science. My mother had been a Christian Scientist for many years, however, and I had occasionally attended church with her.
After my son was born I felt drawn to Christian Science again, and found myself thirstily drinking in everything I could. Still, I had this nagging fear about where our next grocery money would come from, even though almost a year had passed and we still had managed to stay afloat.
