YOUR LETTERS
"Thank you for hitting on this issue of tabloids, which is so blatant and yet so subtle."
The Planet Tabloid issue (May 18) leaped out of my mailbox at me. At first I was shocked, but it totally captivated me and shouted "READ ME!" So I did. I noticed the rest of the family members did, too, without a moment of hesitation. It didn't disappoint.
The "To Our Readers" letter drew me right in and awakened me—yes, I had accepted the ever-presence of the supermarket tabloids and their mentality just like dreary weather day after day! The cover story was fresh and deep, revealing the underlying problem needing examination and showing me what I could do about it. Thank you for hitting on this issue of tabloids, which is so blatant and yet so subtle.
