AS I PRAYED, THE DRIVER HIT THE BRAKES
When I woke one morning, the first words that came to me were "God is in control of everything in His universe." I didn't hear a humanlike voice, but the message was loud and clear, nonetheless. I considered it a message from God, a spiritual intuition.
About four hours later, I was turning my car, on a green light along with other cars, onto a busy thoroughfare. A commercial van about to run the red light was headed straight for me at high speed. I can still remember so clearly that angel message and thinking as I watched him approach, "Nothing is going to happen to anyone here, because God is in control of all of us."
The driver of the van hit the brakes and went into a triple spin. Yet it never touched my car or any of the others in the "line of fire." In a moment or two, the van came to a halt, heading in an entirely different direction from the one in which it had come.
