AN EASTER PRAYER

"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me" (John 12:32). This time of year, in churches throughout Christendom, one hears the exultant cry "He is risen!" May you feel the uplifting pull of the Christ in every facet of your daily life. May you effortlessly rise above every difficulty in your path. May your spirits soar in joyous acceptance of God's outpouring of good. May you rise each morning in happy anticipation that God will surprise you with His goodness. May all those you think about feel an uplifting influence, bringing peace, health, safety, and stability to their lives. May your community feel this upwelling of virtue—gently, powerfully, naturally, and buoyantly lifting the character of every citizen. May all your world ascend ever closer and closer toward secure peace and unconditional love for everyone everywhere.

Happy Easter—all year round!
