Dear Sentinel,

I am a teenager and I have lots of things to be grateful for. I think the main thing is knowing God is always here to help me. Whenever I have a problem, a worry, or even if I'm just feeling down, God is here for me. Knowing this makes me feel safe, calm, wrapped up in Love.

In one of my gymnastic lessons at school I was able to put into practice this trust in God. I was getting out gym apparatus with a few of my friends. We were getting out the horse (vault), which has four big, heavy concrete feet. As we were carrying it, somehow I managed to get my foot caught underneath it.

My very first thought was "God loves me." This helped me not to think about my foot and to think about God. My foot started to bruise, and I went to sit out at the side of the gym and watch my classmates having fun. I watched them and saw all the good, Godlike qualities they were expressing. I also thought about how God, Love, helps us do what we need to. By the end of the lesson I was able to walk on my foot properly.
