Eye infection cured

A number of years ago I had come home from work after a very difficult day because I had been experiencing extreme pain from infection in one of my eyes. My fear was so great that I wasn't able to pray effectively for myself. I called a Christian Science practitioner I remembered from a testimony he had given, and asked him for treatment. I told him I needed especially to be healed of fear. Mary Baker Eddy explains in Science and Health with Key tothe Scriptures, "When fear disappears, the foundation of disease is gone" (p. 368).

I learned that we need to go a step beyond believing, to knowing that Truth heals.
