Who are Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel?
INTRODUCTION TO THE BIBLE
LET'S pretend that you're with several other kids who are pretty good friends of yours. You go to school together. You play together. And you really like them a lot. Then one day they start talking about doing some things that you know are wrong. And some of them actually start doing those things. You know that what your friends are thinking and doing is going to hurt them a lot. What would you do about it?
Should you say anything? Should you tell them you think what they're talking about, or doing, is wrong? If you do, They might stop being your friends. But if you really love them, wouldn't you tell them anyway?
Well, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel were people who faced exactly this kind of situation. And when you read the books of the Bible that are named for them, you'll find out how they answered this very difficult question: should you tell people you love that what they're doing is wrong?
