GRATEFUL FOR HEALING
My husband and I were surprised when our son Josh told us he wanted to give a testimony at our Thanksgiving service in First Church of Christ, Scientist, Poughkeepsie. From the time Josh was learning to speak, his speech was difficult to understand. We have prayed often for healing of these speech difficulties, and Josh has made steady progress. We felt the healing was evident when Josh stood up and gave his testimony. The clarity of Josh's words and his confidence in them filled our hearts with gratitude on Thanksgiving morning.
