Severe earache quickly healed

One night I woke with a severe earache. I seemed to be paralyzed with fear. Calming myself, I lay back down in bed and closed my eyes, asking for guidance from God. These words from a hymn (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 136) came to my thought:

I love Thy way of freedom, Lord,
To serve Thee is my choice,
In Thy clear light of Truth I rise
And, listening for Thy voice ....
