Angels at exam time

God knows the answer—listen.

Angels are indeed real. They can be a part of our experience every day if we watch for them. But we don't need to look for beautiful people with long robes or white feathers. In Science and Health, part of the definition of angels is "God's thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect" (p. 581).

In a certain sense, looking for angels is like turning on a radio. We have evidence that the waves carrying the signal exist constantly all around us, but until we turn the radio on and tune it to the correct station, we don't hear anything. In watching for angels, we need to recognize that God and His thoughts are ever present. "Tuning in" to God, good, is utilizing our spiritual intuition, listening to His thoughts.

The basis for being able to hear God's thoughts is that we are God's image; we reflect God. As His children, we are capable of listening spiritually, of appreciating the inspiration of a right idea, and of being ANGELS AT EXAM TIME continued conscious of what is the right course of action to take in a particular situation. God, divine Mind, is everywhere. Right where we are, then, Mind is available to us, always on the scene, supplying us with spiritual ideas.
