Divineness
"What is that to thee?"John 21:22.
keeps coming to mind
when criticism surfaces
in thoughts unkind,
borne on wings of selfish
judgment and arrogance.
Speaking for divineness,
Christ says, "Follow thou me."
Our oneness with God
is what Christ leads us to see,
erasing unjust criticism:
"What is that to thee?"
As sheep having one shepherd,
knowing only his commands,
we are able to follow Christ,
seeing perfect God and man—
for Christ says
"Follow thou me."
