HAVE YOU HEARD THE SENTINEL?
The Christian Science Sentinel was established by Mary Baker Eddy "... to hold guard over Truth, Life, and Love ...." This distinctly important mission applies to the print version of the Sentinel as well as the Christian Science Sentinel—Radio Edition, which can be heard over shortwave worldwide and on many local commercial radio stations in the United States.
The program consists of interviews and features that look at a wide range of important concerns in the light of Christian Science. Also included are testimonies of healing and often a hymn. Shortwave and local programs are broadcast weekly. A compilation of segments in chosen each month for sale in Christian Science Reading Rooms as well as for individual subscriptions.
You can find program listings in The Christian Science Journal, or you can visit a Reading Room to borrow or purchase a cassette. Subscriptions to the Sentinel radio cassette are available for US$96 per year (12 cassettes). You can order a subscription by calling 1–800–456–4851 in the U.S. and Canada. In the United Kingdom, you can call 0800–96–0866 (Freephone). In other countries, call Customer Service in Boston, U.S.A.: 617–450–2000, ext. 2509.
TESTIMONY MEETINGS
Are you interested in hearing how Christian Science heals and changes people's lives for the better? Then why not attend one of the Wednesday testimony meetings that are held in Christian Science churches worldwide? Everyone is warmly welcome to attend these meetings, as well as the Sunday services. The church directory in The Christian Science Journal tells where and when they are held.
