My name is Raphael and I am eight years old
My name is Raphael and I am eight years old. I am in third grade in school. I want to tell you about a time I was visiting my grandparents in Brazil when I got a headache, stomachache, and earache. My ear hurt a lot. The next day we had to drive seven hours to another town. Since I was not feeling well, my dad called a Christian Science practitioner to treat me, and I talked to her. She told me that God is always with me. The next day my head and ear still hurt, but I could eat fine. I slept in the car during the long trip. The third day we had to take a fourteen-hour airplane trip back home. My dad told me about the hymn from the Christian Science Hymnal (No. 139) that says
I walk with Love along the way,
And O, it is a holy day;
No more I suffer cruel fear,
I feel God's presence with me here....
