"When a nation defends itself against wrong it is sometimes driven to accomplish this ... through its army. Our cause needs defence and its principal fort needs fortification. I now call soldiers to supply this need, defend this fort, and the officer working within it for her Church, the field, and the world" (Robert Peel, Mary Baker Eddy: The Years of Authority, p. 243).
Thousands of workers throughout the years have answered this calling voiced by Mary Baker Eddy in 1903. Although the work of this calling may vary, these words voice a request from the forefront of the movement to come serve at The Mother Church.
Work at The Mother Church calls for many different skills, talents, and qualities. If interested, please contact the Personnel Department at The Mother Church. To hear a listing of current openings in the Church Administration or in The Christian Science Publishing Society, please call 1–800–288–7155, ext. 3860. You can stay on the line to speak directly with an employee of Personnel. From outside North America call (617) 450–3860.
