I have had many healings in the years since I became a student of this wonderful Science of Christianity. I have also been a witness to many healings of my wife and our five children.
The most recent was near the end of last year. Without warning, my shoulder, arm, and hand became immobile. The pain was so severe that I was unable to concentrate on anything else. I tried to look away from matter and lift my thought to a more spiritual level. And my wife called a Christian Science practitioner, who agreed to give me treatment through prayer. My wife also very lovingly supported my metaphysical study.
I tried to read Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other writings of Mary Baker Eddy, but I could not concentrate. The next morning, after a sleepless night, I spoke with the practitioner. She shared some thoughts that were very helpful. I recall the main idea was that this problem was not a part of God's spiritual man.
